Motion Aiming in BL2 on the Vita

I’ve been replaying Borderlands 2 on my Vita since I got this grip for it. The grip makes it a lot easier to hold the Vita and reach all of the buttons. I’m still having a little trouble with the control sticks; they seem to be a little sensitive to sudden shifts. If I pull the stick all the way over, the character will move normally until the stick reaches the edge, and then suddenly move a lot quicker, resulting in the view wildly sliding around.

I had some luck with increasing the size of the hotspot for the back touch screen buttons in the control settings, so I went in to see if I could tone down the sensitivity of the sticks, and discovered a neat Vita feature. If you hold down the aim button (left shoulder by default), you can use the motion control of the Vita to aim. Physically moving the Vita around adjusts the aim. I haven’t really gotten a chance to try it yet, but it’s neat to see developers using the features of the Vita like this.
